Linda Bilben

Chief Strategist & Educator: Linda’s measured approach to issues and crisis communication management is illustrated in successful planning, management and training for some of Canada’s best known institutions and brands. Linda’s most notable work includes counsel and training for multiple institutions including BCIT, Science World, BC Place, Canada Place, Providence Health Care, Vancouver Coastal Health and the Vancouver International Airport. She has also worked with multi-national and national corporations on highly contentious issues/crisis communication management situations across five continents.  Recognized for excellence in her field with awards from the Canadian Public Relations Society, the International Association of Business Communicators, and the Hermes Creative Awards, Linda is a regular speaker, course leader and media expert on crisis communication, reputation management and social media.

Linda has managed and owned communications firms in Alberta and BC including Reputations from 2001 to 2016. She recently opened ink & air communication to focus specifically on her training and issues/crisis management expertise.

Linda is a journalism graduate and certified adult educator. Her expertise is also attributed in Post-Secondary Curriculum Content at Australia’s Public Venue Management School (PNVM) and Pearson Higher Education-First Canadian Text on PR Practice.

Media Lead: Michelle Miller’s career in television broadcasting has spanned over two decades. She worked for CTV News in Winnipeg at CKY anchoring the news and reporting from the front lines of major stories such as the devastating floods that struck the province in 1997. Moving west, Michelle worked for ITV and then Global Television during its inauguration as both an anchor and reporter. From the Pine Lake Tornado to election coverage to devastating forest fires, Michelle was relied upon for her insightful stories and provocative interviewing techniques.

Global BC became Michelle’s home from 2001 to 2011. She dove into live reporting and was the senior reporter on many of the city’s breaking news stories, such as the Pickton Farm, the Surrey Six Massacre, the 2007 deadly hot air balloon crash and the 2011 Richmond plane crash.

Michelle has been the Media Lead with Linda Bilben, initially for Reputations from 2011 to 2015 and then with ink & air communication following its inception in 2016.
